bgo wins prestigious EGR Award for our Beat The Boss TV campaign
We are pleased to announce that bgo.com is the proud winner of a highly acclaimed EGR Operator Marketing & Innovation Award, which was presented to us in Monday afternoon’s awards ceremony at The Pavilion in the Tower of London.
We won the prestigious 'Casino Marketing Campaign' category for our much-talked-about ‘Beat The Boss’ concept, featuring Hollywood actor Verne Troyer - known for his role as Mini Me in the Austin Powers films amongst other movies and TV appearances.
Verne himself was there at the Awards in London with us to collect the trophy, afterwards writing about it on his official Facebook page. He posted a picture of himself holding it, saying that he was “happy to be a part of it”. You can visit Verne's Facebook page here.
The awards recognise stand-out creativity and innovation in the online gaming industry and those who have pushed themselves to bring something new to the field in the last 12 months - all things that bgo is constantly striving to achieve.

Our ‘Beat the Boss’ campaign, which has been advertised on UK television in the form of a highly entertaining advert, sees Verne invite players to come and take him on at his casino to see if they’ve got what it takes to ‘beat him’ and his games.
